Lesson 15: MONEY CAN BUY YOU HAPPINESS

MONEY CAN BUY YOU HAPPINESS

There is  common cliche’  that money can’t buy you happiness.  This is a misconception that mostly is placed out of context. We often here that many people who win the Lottery most of the time they spend their money and end up in depression and in  a far much worse state they were before they won the Lottery.

A recent study was done and it showed that actually money can buy you happiness it all matters on how the money is spent. The study found out that those who spend money on themselves usually end up not being in the happy state compared to those who used part of their money on others. In other words, happiness comes from the way we spend the money, the happy ones tend to spend money on others meaning we get more fulfillment when we give than when we spend it on ourselves.

So let’s not conform to the general fallacy that Money cannot buy happiness, It is indeed true money can buy happiness but  the main point is how we spend the Money matters. Those who spend on others tend to be happier compared to those who harbor it for their own selfish needs.

I want to challenge you to go out their and be happy and atleast try spending on someone, take someone out, buy s gift, donate to a charity etc, Strive to be happy always.
